It’s usually the interior that impresses the most on a house but, in the case of this residence from Perth, Australia. It was a project by Ritz Exterior Design and it turned out wonderful. The landscaping is just amazing and everything it enhanced by the stunning views visible from the terrace.

One of the main goals for this project was to maintain a strong connection with the house. In a way, water is a link that connects the front of the house to the other side. The views across the river are an element that defines both areas. The orientation of the house played an important role here. There’s also a suspended structure, like a bridge deck that sits over the main water feature and thus allows water to become a part of the interior design as well.
What’s interesting is the fact that plants are almost entirely missing, which is unusual for a house with both a front and rear outdoor space. Plants were kept to a minimum for maintenance reasons. The designers only used grass and raised planter beds to add a little green touch to the property.-Via
